Beautiful, sturdy shopping basket woven of prairie grass (elephant grass). All baskets are hand made under fair working conditions. The baskets are about 40cm in diameter. A double handle reinforced with leather completes the bold design. The baskets are dyed with food coloring, so they should not be exposed to moisture for any length of time. However, it is possible to moisten them, shape them to your liking and dry them again.
